Job Description

As a People Operations Regional Team Supervisor at Astellas Pharma Inc., you will play a crucial role in delivering consistent, high-quality support for employee queries while ensuring operational excellence and an exceptional colleague experience across the China Operations. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of People Operations Advisors and Specialists, overseeing HR operations across the EMEA/APAC/Americas region, and collaborating with regional HR teams to embed standards and ensure consistent execution. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage day-to-day HR operations across regions, ensuring seamless execution across the employee lifecycle - Oversee the setup of new operations for all people-related activities - Resolve employee queries and cases across multiple channels - Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, ensuring timely and compliant resolutions - Line manage a team of Advisors and Specialists, supporting their development and operational excellence - Collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure adherence to global governance and accommodate local compliance needs - Act as a key contributor to HR projects, providing operational input and helping to define user requirements - Ensure data accuracy and completeness in all people systems for robust analytics and reporting - Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR policies and procedures **Qualifications Required:** - Extensive experience in HR operations, with supervisory experience in a shared services or contact center environment - Proven experience in managing SLAs, KPIs, and driving continuous improvement - Strong service orientation and commitment to delivering an outstanding employee experience - Expertise in ticketing systems and case management platforms - Ability to lead service teams, manage high volumes of inquiries, and exceed performance expectations - Excellent knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and data privacy regulations - Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills - Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs - Proficiency in written and spoken English, additional languages desirable As an inclusive employer, Astellas recognizes the importance of work/life balance and offers a hybrid working solution that allows for both office and remote work.
