Job Title: People Experience - Innovation & Digital Product Manager

Location: Bangalore, India

JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to provide strategic and operational leadership for HR s digital AI agent (Una) within the HR functional area. As the Product Owner, you will take full accountability to drive the success of the HR Digital Agent (Una) through innovation, optimisation and driving Unilever s AI ambition for People Experience & HR Function. You will bring pride and purpose to the craft of product ownership turning insight into innovation, pushing the boundaries of what s possible, and acting as the voice of the user in every decision. The Innovation & Digital Product Manager role is an end-to-end HR product owner of Unilever s HR digital AI agent with a unique blend of strategic leadership, product design, and high-touch stakeholder engagement. At its core, this position requires a strategic thinker to map current capabilities and design future product roadmaps. Strong storyteller who can translate complex data and insights into compelling narratives that reveal opportunities and drive impactful decisions. As the key connector between HR, People Experience, and Digital Technology teams, you will influence and collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to define and deliver Unilever s HR digital agent roadmap. Your ability to shape powerful narratives, communicate clearly, and foster alignment will be essential in driving adoption and continuous improvement of HR s digital agent user experience on a global scale. - Strategic Leadership: Lead various teams involved in design, implementation and continuous improvement of the HR Digital Agent by setting clear objectives aligning the product roadmap with the HR people strategy. - Product Design & Delivery: Design and implement best-in-class HR user features that drive digital adoption and simplify the employee experience and bring maximum value realisation for HR & People Experience. - Governance: Oversee platform governance, security, data quality, compliance and service levels across the Digital AI platform. - Content Management: Establish content management strategies, principles, and guardrails across HR s Centers of Excellence and expertise teams to ensure collaboration, compliance, and continuous improvement. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Build and nurture strong partnerships between Global Centers of Excellence, People Experience, HR, and Technology teams to align on and execute the digital-first agenda. - Data & Insights Ownership: Own all data and insights generated from HR s digital agent interactions to identify trends, opportunities, and improvements. Collaborate with process owners and market leads to build continuous improvement roadmaps. - Voice of Customer: Develop and lead a global community/network to gather employee feedback and customer insights, driving user-centric digital experience enhancements. - User Experience Alignment: Serve as the bridge between HR, PEX, and Tech teams to define and prioritize user experience requirements, informed by the people calendar of events and organizational needs. - Customer Engagement: Maintain a high-touch customer-facing approach to ensure solutions meet user needs and promote adoption. - Outside-In Innovation: Continuously scan and analyze industry trends on HR Digital Agent capabilities, emerging technologies, and best practices to bring outside-in thinking and identify opportunities where Unilever can leap three steps ahead in product experiences. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in HR Partnering/HR Services with a basic understanding of digital product management/ digital experience strategy, or HR technology roles within large, global organizations. - Understanding of AI/ML concepts and conversational agent frameworks, Hands on experience designing and driving adoption interventions for tools - Strong ability to blend strategic thinking with tactical product design and delivery. - Project management in product back-log will be a plus - Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to drive continuous improvement. - Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior leaders and technical teams. - Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to shape complex insights into compelling narratives and opportunities that drive action. - Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation design to clearly communicate strategy, insights, and recommendations. - Strong influencing skills to drive collaborative decision-making across product, HR, and business teams. - Familiarity with HR platforms and digital assistant technologies (e. g. , AI chatbots, conversational AI). Proven ability to manage and grow global communities or networks focused on user experience. DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Atleast 10+ years of experiences in HR partnering/HR services/HR Techno-functional roles - Certifications in Human Resources, Digital Product Management, Design, UI, UX design are a plus - Experience working in HR technology environments or with employee experience platforms. - Experience working in complex, global matrix organization is a plus.
