Job Description

Key Responsibilities Pellet Mill Operation Operate and monitor the pellet mill machine. Adjust feed rates, steam pressure, and die speeds for efficient pellet production. Start up and shut down pellet machines safely. Quality Control Ensure pellets meet quality standards (e.g., size, moisture content, durability). Perform routine checks and document pellet quality. Report and correct any deviations from specifications. Machine Maintenance Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of pellet mill equipment. Replace dies, rollers, and other wear parts when necessary. Report mechanical issues to maintenance staff. Raw Material Handling Ensure correct feed formulation is used. Monitor moisture content and conditioning of raw materials. Coordinate with mixing and grinding departments. Safety and Compliance Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Comply with feed safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Record-Keeping Keep logs of production batches, machine settings, and maintenance performed. Input data into production management systems as required. Skills and Qualifications Experience in feed milling or similar industrial settings. Knowledge of feed formulations and pelletizing machinery. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems. Attention to detail for quality assurance. Understanding of health and safety standards. Work Environment Typically works in an industrial or agricultural setting. May involve shift work, weekends, and extended hours. Exposure to dust, noise, and machinery. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
