Job Title: Pellet Operator

Job Objective:

To operate and maintain the pelletizing equipment for converting processed rice bran into pellets, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate pellet mill machines to produce rice bran pellets as per production schedule.
• Monitor key machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, feed rate, and moisture content.
• Load processed rice bran material into the pelletizer using conveyors or feeders.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain desired pellet size, density, and durability.
• Ensure proper conditioning of material (moisture & temperature) before pelletizing.
• Conduct regular checks for machine performance, pellet quality, and feed flow.
• Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of pellet mills and related equipment.
• Identify and report any operational issues, abnormal noises, or malfunctions immediately.
• Maintain accurate daily production logs and material usage records.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE at all times during operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams for preventive maintenance and quality checks.
• Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness around the pellet mill area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field.
• Experience: 1–3 years in pelletizing operations (preferably in rice bran, biomass, or feed industry).
• Knowledge of pellet mill operation, material handling, and basic machine maintenance.
• Understanding of moisture control and conditioning in pelletizing.
• Ability to work in shift operations and team environments.

Working Conditions:

• Shift-based work (day/night rotation).
• Exposure to heat, dust, and mechanical equipment.
• Physically active role requiring attention to detail and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
