Peer Review Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the manuscript peer review process from submission to final editorial decision.
• Manage manuscript tracking systems (e.g., Editorial Manager, ScholarOne).
• Identify and invite suitable peer reviewers in consultation with editors.
• Monitor deadlines and follow up with authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure timely responses.
• Ensure adherence to peer review ethics, confidentiality, and transparency.
• Maintain accurate records and generate regular status reports.
• Assist in editorial board communication and meetings.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from authors and reviewers.
• Support editors with data analysis or performance metrics when needed.
• Liaise with production and publishing teams post-acceptance.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience working with academic editors and international authors.

· Ability to analyze peer review metrics and suggest improvements.

· Familiarity with open access publishing and journal indexing requirements.
