Job Description

The PBX Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems and related telecommunication infrastructure. The role ensures smooth, reliable, and secure voice communication across the organization and with external stakeholders.

Install, configure, and maintain PBX/EPABX systems (Avaya, Cisco, Panasonic, NEC, etc.) and related telephony hardware/software.
Manage VoIP systems, SIP trunks, call routing, IVR systems, voicemail, and conferencing solutions.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and provide timely troubleshooting and repair.
Perform regular system backups, upgrades, and patch management.
Integrate PBX with other communication platforms (CRM, ERP, Contact Center systems, etc.).
Ensure network quality of service (QoS) for voice communication.
Maintain system security (firewalls, encryption, user access controls).
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for upgrades, AMC, and issue resolution.
Prepare documentation for system configuration, call flow diagrams, and change management.
Provide technical support and training to end-users when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹271,226.00 - ₹357,215.00 per year
