HR Operations Payroll Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Management

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees
• Handle statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS) and ensure compliance with labor laws
• Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and reconciliations

• HRIS & Data Integrity

• Maintain and audit employee data in HR systems
• Generate reports for audits, finance, and leadership

• Compliance & Audits

• Stay updated on labor laws and tax regulations
• Lead internal and external payroll audits

• Process Optimization

• Identify bottlenecks in payroll workflows and implement automation or SOPs
• Collaborate with HR Ops to streamline onboarding/offboarding payroll triggers

• Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees, finance, and HR
• Draft clear communication templates for salary slips, tax declarations, etc
