Core responsibilities

  • Payroll processing:

    Calculate and process wages, salaries, bonuses, and other compensation for all employees.
  • Data management:

    Collect, enter, and maintain accurate employee payroll data, including hours worked, new hires, terminations, and changes to personal information.
  • Tax and deduction handling:

    Calculate and ensure timely remittance of all federal, state, and local taxes, as well as deductions for benefits like health insurance, retirement plans ( 401k401 k401), and garnishments.
  • Record keeping:

    Maintain a complete and organized record of all payroll transactions, documentation, and reports.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure all payroll activities adhere to current labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
