Payroll Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and manage monthly payroll processing, statutory compliance, and tax deductions with the Payroll Processing Team and the Client Payroll Coordinator. Ensure Full and Final Settlements are made on time, after due checks, after proper approvals.
• Ensure accurate outputs based on inputs, statutory requirements, company policies and after thorough checks and corrections, ensure timely payment of employee wages and all statutory payouts.
  
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indian labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to payroll administration.
  
• Collaborate with HR team to resolve any issues or discrepancies in employee data or payroll calculations. Ensure that the Master File, Payroll Files are preserved for any audits. Take the documentation through various internal and external audits, due diligences, etc. whenever required.
  
• Provide support for audit queries regarding payroll processes and procedures. Clarify any queries that employees, Accounting Department or Auditors may have regarding payroll.
• Adherence to TATs would be mandatory. Ensuring employees have a good payroll experience by answering payroll related queries, general tax related queries, etc. Towards this, attend helpdesks to help employees clear their doubts.
  

Proper guidance will be given, and knowledge will be imparted to carry out the work diligently. Managers would be supporting the work to ensure a second level check and control.
