Payroll Consultant

Position: Payroll Consultant
Duration: 1 Month (Contract)
Location: Dwarka Sector- 12, New Delhi

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Consultant with hands-on expertise in Keka HR payroll modules and strong understanding of India’s New Labour Codes (Wages, Social Security, Industrial Relations). This is a short-term, 1-month assignment to support accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and smooth transition of updated payroll policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end monthly payroll through Keka HR, including attendance sync, salary computation, reimbursements, and variable payouts.
• Validate payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, OT, shift allowances, LOPs, and new joiner/exiter calculations within Keka.
• Ensure payroll compliance with New Labour Codes (Code on Wages, Code on Social Security, etc.) and update payroll configurations accordingly.
• Review statutory contributions (PF, ESI, PT, LWF) and ensure accurate challan preparation & filings.
• Prepare payroll MIS, salary registers, variance reports, and reconciliations.
• Provide employee support for payroll and payslip-related queries.
• Assist HR in updating CTC structures, salary components, and policy changes in line with new labour regulations.
• Support payroll audit requirements and documentation.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure a seamless payroll cycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of payroll experience, with mandatory hands-on expertise in Keka HR Payroll.
• Strong understanding of India’s New Labour Codes and their impact on payroll structures, wages, PF/ESI limits, and compliance.
• Experience in statutory filings and returns (PF, ESI, PT, TDS).
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage strict timelines.
• Excellent communication and employee support skills.

Contract Details

• Duration: 1 month (may extend based on requirement), Part Time
