Role OverviewWe Are looking for a skilled NDT professional with expertise in advanced testing methods, particularly Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), to ensure weld quality and compliances with international standards. The position demands expertise in inspection techniques, code compliance, and accurate evaluation of integrity to ensure high-quality standards in line with ASME, PED, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform NDT on components using TOFD, PAUT, UT, RT, MT, PT, and VT methods.
• Interpret PAUT/TOFD results to detect flaws, discontinuities, and cracks.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ISO, and customer-specific requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and QA/QC documentation.
• Support welding qualification tests (WQT) and procedure qualification records.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and QA teams for defect resolution.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and safe handling of NDT equipment.
• Provide guidance and technical inputs to team members on advanced NDT techniques.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Diploma / B.Tech / B.Sc in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Related Engineering field.
• Certifications: ASNT/PCN/ISO 9712 Level II/III in UT, PAUT, TOFD, MT, PT (PAUT & TOFD certification mandatory).
• Experience: 4-10 years of experience in NDT, with minimum 2 years in PAUT/TOFD inspections.
• Familiarity with ASME Sec. V, VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3.
• Experience in PAUT equipment such as Olympus, Sonatest, or equivalent.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and interpretation skills.
