Patient Relations Manager (International: English/French)

About Medsurge India:


Key Responsibilities:


Patient Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international patients (primarily English and French-speaking).


  • Understand and assess patients’ medical needs and guide them through their treatment journey in India.


  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure a smooth and seamless care experience.


Patient Relations Management:

  • Oversee the entire patient journey, from initial inquiry through medical procedures, post-operative care, and follow-up after patients return home.


  • Ensure medical records, reports, and other relevant documents are properly managed and handed over to patients.


Liaison with Healthcare Providers:

  • Collaborate with hospitals, doctors, and other healthcare providers to ensure the best medical care for patients.


  • Stay informed about the latest medical procedures, technologies, and offerings from our partner hospitals.


Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring queries are addressed promptly.


  • Ensure patients clearly understand medical terms, procedures, and treatment details, simplifying or translating when required.


Feedback and Continuous Improvement:

  • Collect patient feedback regarding their medical journey and overall experience in India.


  • Work with the Medsurge India team to implement improvements that enhance patient experience.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Healthcare, Life Sciences, Hospitality, or related areas preferred).


  • 2 - 5 years of experience in patient relations, patient coordination, or a similar role.


  • Fluency in English or French is mandatory.


  • Strong understanding of the medical value travel industry and the Indian healthcare landscape.


Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Empathetic and patient-centric approach.


  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.


  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.


  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, or healthcare management software.


  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to work with patients from diverse backgrounds.


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations.
