Patent Analyst

This is a full-time on-site role for a Patent Analyst located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. As a Patent Analyst, you will be responsible for patent preparation, utilizing analytical skills, applying patent law knowledge, conducting patentability assessments, and performing competitive intelligence analysis. You should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in patent analysis or a related field. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive patent searches to evaluate patentability, invalidity, and infringement of inventions. Additionally, you will analyze and interpret patent claims, prior art, and technical specifications. It will be your responsibility to prepare claim charts to illustrate infringement, invalidity, and patentability analyses and to draft detailed reports on findings to support intellectual property strategies. Collaboration with inventors, R&D teams, and legal counsel for drafting and analyzing patent applications is a key part of this role. Keeping up-to-date with technological advancements and changes in intellectual property laws is crucial. You will also assist in preparing opinions for patent validity and infringement cases. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.Tech/M.Tech/PhD in Electronics and Communication only. Experience with patent databases such as Orbit and Espacenet, as well as patent analysis tools, is required. A solid understanding of patent laws, particularly related to patentability and infringement, is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary. Attention to detail and research capabilities are key, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
