Patent Analyst

As a patent analyst at our company, your role will involve conducting daily patent searches using various methods, databases, and technology reviews. You will be assigned to patent-related ventures where you will research and understand new technologies, as well as perform different forms of patent searches based on your findings. Your technical background and experiences will be crucial in understanding invention or patent disclosures and drafting the key features of the subject invention/patent. Key Responsibilities: - Expertise in patent analytics for both patent and non-patent literature, including Landscapes, Patentability, Invalidations, Novelty, FTOs, Market Research, and Infringement. - Analyzing patent claims and descriptions for claims mapping, portfolio analysis, and patent categorization. - Assessing project processes and identifying steps that can be automated for increased efficiency. - Writing both Provisional and Non-provisional patents following PTO guidelines of various countries. - Interacting with inventors to draft patent specifications based on the provided invention disclosures. - Detailed knowledge of Asian, European, and US Patent Law. - Conducting secondary research in markets and building an in-depth understanding of companies in assigned sectors. - Custom research based on client queries and presenting findings to clients through detailed reports. - Seeking feedback from daily meetings with the Manager and having good oral and written communication skills. - Strong technical knowledge with an analytical mind to extract essential features of inventions. - Marketing and commercial knowledge to keep up with current market trends. Qualifications: - B. Sc. / M. Sc., B. Pharm/ M.
