Paraplanner

As a Paraplanner at our company, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive financial advice support to our clients. You will collaborate closely with our internal team and advisors to gather and analyze client data, conduct research on investment products, and prepare financial plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, communicating effectively with clients, and handling administrative tasks. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Australian paraplanning industry. A Bachelor's degree in finance, an MBA, or industry-specific certifications such as the Diploma of Financial Planning, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or CFA designation are required. Proficiency in financial planning software like XPLAN, AdviserLogic, Platformplus, or similar tools is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are also key qualifications. Your responsibilities will include preparing Statements of Advice (SOA), conducting research, financial modeling, and projections. You must ensure that all financial plans and recommendations adhere to relevant laws and regulations. Providing administrative and technical support to financial advisers, assisting with client communication, and staying updated on financial products and industry developments are integral parts of the role. Moreover, you should be capable of independently writing complex SOA and ROA, as well as handling tasks such as ongoing reviews, product research, and implementation.
