Panel Wiring Technician

Role Overview: You will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels based on wiring diagrams and schematics. Your primary tasks will include reading and interpreting electrical schematics, performing wiring and assembling of panels, mounting electrical components, ensuring proper cable routing and labeling, conducting quality checks, and collaborating with other teams to maintain compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. - Perform wiring, assembling, and troubleshooting of electrical control panels as per specifications. - Mount electrical components like relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, VFDs, contactors, and switches inside panels. - Ensure proper cable routing, termination, and labeling in accordance with wiring standards. - Conduct quality checks and continuity tests to ensure proper functioning of panels. - Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams to ensure compliance with company standards. - Identify and resolve wiring or assembly issues during production. - Maintain tools and equipment in good condition. Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field. - Minimum 1-3 years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related role. - Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics. - Knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices. - Experience with tools like crimpers, screwdrivers, drills, and multi-meters. - Basic understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems is a plus.
