As a skilled Panel Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels based on wiring diagrams and schematics. Your role will involve interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings to perform wiring, assembling, and troubleshooting of electrical control panels as per specifications. You will mount various electrical components inside panels such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, VFDs, contactors, and switches, ensuring proper cable routing, termination, and labeling in adherence to wiring standards. Quality checks and continuity tests will be conducted by you to guarantee the proper functioning of the panels. Collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams is essential to ensure compliance with company standards. Your duties will also include identifying and resolving any wiring or assembly issues that may arise during production, as well as maintaining tools and equipment in good condition. To qualify for this role, you should possess an ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related role. Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics, knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices, as well as experience with tools like crimpers, screwdrivers, drills, and multi-meters are required. A basic understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems would be advantageous.
