Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Panel Designer to design and develop electrical control panels for

industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate panel

layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs while ensuring compliance with industry

standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design electrical control panels for PLC, VFD, MCC, PCC, and automation systems

 Prepare panel layout drawings, schematic diagrams, and wiring diagrams

 Select electrical components such as MCB, MCCB, contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs,

SMPS, HMI, and safety devices

 Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation

 Ensure compliance with IEC / IS standards and electrical safety norms

 Coordinate with project engineers, production, and commissioning teams

 Provide technical support during panel manufacturing, testing, and commissioning

 Modify and update designs as per customer or project requirements

 Maintain drawing revisions and documentation control

Required Qualifications & Skills:

 Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

 1–3 years of experience in electrical panel design (Industrial Automation preferred)

 Proficiency in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN

 Strong knowledge of control circuits and power wiring

 Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and GA drawings

Preferred Skills:

 Experience with Siemens, Schneider, ABB, L&T products

 Knowledge of PLC I/O wiring and industrial automation systems

 Familiarity with panel manufacturing standards and best practices

Soft Skills:

 Good communication and coordination skills

 Attention to detail and accuracy

 Ability to work under project deadlines

 Team player with problem-solving skills
