Job Title: Paint Shop Supervisor (Fresher) Department: Paint Shop Industry: Radiator Manufacturing Location: Vadodara Reporting To: Paint Shop In-charge Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic fresher to join our Paint Shop team as a Paint Shop Supervisor. This entry-level role involves overseeing daily operations in the paint shop, ensuring proper surface treatment, painting quality, and adherence to safety and production standards. The candidate will work closely with senior staff and receive training to manage processes effectively in a radiator manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in supervising daily operations in the radiator paint shop area. Monitor surface preparation (e.g., degreasing, shot blasting, pre-treatment) before painting. Ensure correct paint application methods are followed (e.g., spray painting, powder coating). Check paint quality for finish, adhesion, thickness, and curing using appropriate tools. Help maintain painting equipment and ensure timely cleaning and preventive maintenance. Track paint consumption, reduce wastage, and maintain stock of consumables. Record daily production and quality data related to painting processes. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental norms in the paint area (e.g., proper ventilation, PPE use). Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to ensure timely output with acceptable finish standards. Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical Basic understanding of industrial painting processes and surface preparation techniques. Awareness of paint types used in radiator manufacturing (e.g., epoxy, enamel, powder). Good communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a shop-floor environment. Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and safety standards in a manufacturing plant is an advantage.
