Role & responsibilities Paint Shop Supervision Plan and schedule painting operations in coordination with production goals Supervise paint line personnel, including painters, blasters, and helpers Surface Preparation & Painting Surface Treatment Oversee surface preparation processes including degreasing, shot blasting, sandblasting, and chemical cleaning. Ensure proper application of primers, base coats, and top coats using various techniques (Ex - spray painting, powder coating, dip painting). Ensure appropriate Coat based on Materials types(CI & DI) Ensure to Select Paint, Coating as per Client requirements Ensure measurement of paint thickness Maintaining Painting Logs , Inspection Reports and touch up Records . Monitor paint material inventory (paints, thinners, solvents, PPE). Coordinate maintenance and calibration of spray guns, compressors, and other equipment. Minimize paint waste and optimize material usage. Preferred candidate profile Proven experience in industrial painting, preferably with cast iron or ductile iron components. Knowledge of different paint types (epoxy, enamel, polyurethane, etc.) and surface preparation methods. Familiarity with coating inspection tools (DFT gauges, gloss meters, adhesion testers). Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to read technical drawings and paint specifications. Diploma or technical education in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Experience with Valve Industries will be added advantages .

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ERP/MIS systems or spreadsheets. Verify data from source documents for accuracy and completeness. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory reports. Support the tracking of production KPIs (efficiency, downtime, wastage). Coordinate with store, quality, and production teams to ensure data consistency. Maintain digital and physical records in a well-organized manner. Assist with stock reconciliation and physical inventory audits. Handle confidential company information responsibly. Report discrepancies or data issues to relevant supervisors. Preferred candidate profile Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology. Knowledge of ISO documentation standards. Ability to work in shifts or under time-sensitive conditions.
