Job Summary

We are seeking a mo􀆟vated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Paint Shop Supervisor to

join our team. The ideal candidate will play a cri􀆟cal role in learning & monitoring the manufacturing

process by ensuring efficient produc􀆟on, maintaining quality standards, and collabora􀆟ng with

various departments to achieve organiza􀆟onal goals.

Key Responsibili􀆟es:

1) Managing all aspects of the paint shop, including pretreatment, powder coa􀆟ng, and blas􀆟ng,

ensuring efficient and effec􀆟ve workflows.

2) Implemen􀆟ng and maintaining quality control procedures for all coated components,

including visual inspec􀆟ons, film thickness measurements, and adhesion tests.

3) Coordina􀆟ng produc􀆟on schedules, managing material inventory, and op􀆟mizing resource

alloca􀆟on to meet produc􀆟on targets.

4) Ensuring proper func􀆟oning of all paint shop equipment, including powder coa􀆟ng systems,

blas􀆟ng equipment, and pretreatment lines.

5) Enforcing strict safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for all paint shop

personnel.

6) Iden􀆟fying and resolving issues related to coa􀆟ng defects, equipment malfunc􀆟ons, and

produc􀆟on bo􀆩lenecks.

7) Knowledge of abrasive blas􀆟ng techniques, equipment opera􀆟on, and safety procedures.

8) Familiarity with different types of coa􀆟ng materials, including primers, topcoats, and specialty

coa􀆟ngs.

9) Basic knowledge of chemicals such as primer, pu􀆩y, hardener, and top coat.

10) Ability to apply primer and top coat while maintaining the required DFT, using both brush

and spray gun applica􀆟ons.

11) Proficiency in the applica􀆟on of pu􀆩y.

12) Knowledge of surface prepara􀆟on techniques for rework and repain􀆟ng.

13) Understanding of proper chemical storage condi􀆟ons.

14) Knowledge of safe chemical handling prac􀆟ces.

15) Understanding of flash-off 􀆟me, drying 􀆟me, and pot life.

16) Familiarity with MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and TDS (Technical Data Sheet).

17) Ability to prepare Work Instruc􀆟ons (WI) and procedures.

18) Knowledge of pain􀆟ng tools such as spray guns, brushes, and rollers.

19) Understanding of correct paint mixing ra􀆟os.

20) Familiarity with epoxy-based, PU-based, and other paint systems.

Skills and Qualifica􀆟ons:

Educa􀆟onal Requirements: Diploma in Paint / Chemical /Mechanical

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools.

Familiarity with CAD so􀅌ware or produc􀆟on management tools is a plus.

Experience:

2 to 4 Years in the same field in an engineering company.
