Job Description – Packing Oil Printing Operator

Position: Printing Operator (5)
Department: Packaging (Oil Division)
Location: Gandhidham / Gujarat
Reporting To: Production / Packaging In-Charge

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology or Packaging Technology

Experience:

• 2–4 Years in edible oil / FMCG packing lines or similar packaging operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain label and batch printing machines used in oil packing lines.
• Ensure accurate batch coding, MRP, and date printing as per production plan.
• Monitor print quality and alignment, making necessary adjustments during production.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department for approval of labels, ink, and printing material.
• Maintain daily production reports, downtime logs, and machine maintenance records.
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of printing machines.
• Ensure labels, films, and packaging materials are properly loaded and aligned before operation.
• Follow 5S and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) on the shop floor.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company operational standards.

Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with inkjet / flexographic / thermal printing machines
• Knowledge of batch coding, labeling formats, and packaging quality checks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot printing errors
• Team coordination and communication with QC and production teams

Employment Type:

• Full-Time / Permanent

Compensation:

• ₹28,000–₹48,000 per month depending on experience
