Packaging Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Identify research and evaluate new developments or trends in Industry, technologies, material( rigid , flexible and semi rigid) and process.
• Envision, energize and enable; Create business case scenario on the innovation pipe line and present it and make robust execution plan accordingly.
• Design, fabricate and evaluate/assess a working package, equipment or product prototype/sample against technical requirements, fit to concept or performance specifications (e.g. functionality, design and qualification and operational feasibility)
• Lead or Support machines material interaction projects, automation or productivity initiatives on Filling and packing projects ,bring latest technology innovation concepts to improve production line performance for multiple packaging formats
• Demonstrating huge work load capability, manage priorities, and enable extraordinary contributions by developing and utilizing own and other capabilities
• Utilizing the packaging lab fully for developing this innovation pipe line to do POP principle at a lab scale and go for next level of trial run.
• Operate with discipline: Leveraging a disciplined project management ( capex,Opex planning) but enabling approach to drive consistent results and process, anticipating action to come by forward planning, reviewing progress , risk matrix planning and seek help whenever needed with full accountability with full visibility to the packaging leadership team
• Risk taking: demonstrating calculated risk-taking ability with a rigor to maximize learning with minimum investment of people, money and time.
• Collaboration and communication: need to collaborate with key core members and seeking input and navigating the project fully
• Proactively seek to external world and build skill knowledge as a technology leader. Need to become technical master in overall technical process, lead, coach, other packaging members. • Strong interpersonal skills to be a shelf starter mode by managing different stake folders ( global and local in different geography) to communicate, drive actions and deliver results with full accountability

Preferred candidate profile

10-12 years of Experience Managing Packaging industrialization and development in one or more companies operating in Food and Beverage, ideally a multinational FMCG company.
