Packaging Machine Operator:

Role Summary The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of specialized packaging systems—including FFS (Form Fill Seal) and PFS (Pick Fill Seal) machinery. The goal is to ensure products are sealed and labeled efficiently while meeting strict quality and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up and run various packaging systems, specifically:
• FFS (Form Fill Seal): Managing machines that form the package from a roll of film, fill it, and seal it in one continuous process.
• PFS (Pick Fill Seal): Operating equipment that picks pre-made pouches, fills them with product, and seals them.
• Quality Control: Monitor machine performance and inspect finished products for proper weights, airtight seals, and accurate labeling.
• Technical Maintenance: Perform changeovers for different product runs and conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting and cleaning.
• Data Tracking: Maintain logs for production volume, downtime, and material waste.
• Compliance: Follow all safety, hygiene, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical Expertise: Experience with FFS, PFS, or similar automated packaging lines is highly preferred.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand machine interfaces and perform minor adjustments or repairs.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods in a production environment and working shift rotations (nights/weekends).
