Senior Maintenance Person.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to oversee and execute all types of maintenance activities in our peanut butter manufacturing plant - Prantij - Himatnagar. The role requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of machines and equipment to ensure smooth production with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment, including:

Mixers, Motors, Gear Boxes, Pumps

Electrical wiring, Control panels

Milling Machines, Filling & Packaging Machines

Other mechanical and electrical systems in the plant.

• Diagnose machine breakdowns and implement quick, effective solutions.
• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain maintenance records, schedules, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Guide junior technicians and provide on-the-job training where required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a food processing or manufacturing industry (preferably FMCG).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and resolve issues under pressure.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Good understanding of safety standards in food manufacturing plants.
• Leadership skills to supervise and mentor junior team members.
