Job Description

Create packaging solution for products or parts, providing detailed guidance and specifications to suppliers
Following procedures in approving all packaging for a specific product line. Monitoring and evaluating quality and effectiveness of existing packaging, addressing issues caused by transportation damage
Lead complex NPI/NSI Projects (1000+ Parts, heavy parts more than 1000 Kg)
Packaging spec sheet review upon receipt considering facility requirement and signoff with supplier
Create Outbound packaging solution and signoff with internal and external customer
Outbound packaging solution implementation in collaboration with cross functional team
Understands all different cost elements that need to be considered for packaging solution. Documents cost correctly in PVT.
Able to run packaging cost analysis on complex supply chain scenarios multiple suppliers, receiving facilities.
Able to run loop size analysis on complex supply chain scenarios (multiple supplier / multiple facilities)
Identify and implement packaging cost saving projects
Customer Management: NPI Project status to SCM/Purchase Manager and above level
Packaging Quality issue resolution: Identify RCCA, Supplier follow up and implementation of improved solution
