Job Description

Packaging Development for Home & Personal Care category

Working with Product Development team in conducting shelf life study of the existing and well as new products in various types of packaging material to arrive at optimum specifications of packaging material to be used

Coordinate with different vendors, production units and other departments for timely completion of developmental works

Drawing up the specifications, design, prototype development with vendors and testing and online application of such packaging and ensuring their adoption only after meeting all package performance and line performance mandates

Develop new package formats to enhance cost performance equation

Develop new packages to drive market initiatives and/or go to market options (Speed to market)

Develop packs to improve product shelf life

Innovation in packs development so that alternate solutions/new opportunities are looked at to rewrite the rules of the game

Capture and deliver internal & external customers (consumer needs)

To orient to substantially reduce cycle time of deliver/response
