Overseas Executive (BDE)

Job Summary:

The Overseas Executive will be responsible for coordinating with overseas agents, handling international shipments, ensuring smooth documentation, and maintaining effective communication to support import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with overseas agents and partners for import and export shipments
• Handle international communication via email and phone with overseas clients and agents
• Manage shipment bookings, rate confirmations, and follow-ups
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as BL, HBL, Invoice, Packing List, and Shipping Instructions
• Track shipments and provide timely status updates to customers and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company SOPs
• Resolve shipment-related issues and coordinate for timely delivery
• Maintain records of shipments and overseas correspondence

Skills & Competencies:

• Good knowledge of freight forwarding operations (Air & Sea – Import/Export)
• Strong communication skills in English (written & verbal)
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across time zones
• Good follow-up and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate / Post Graduate (preferably in Logistics or Commerce)
• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry
• Freshers with relevant training may also be considered
