OSS Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a

  bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams

  , capturing and translating requirements into functional specifications.
• Lead or contribute to OSS implementation projects, especially related to inventory systems and COTS products like

  Cramer

  or

  Granite

  .
• Conduct

  process analysis

  , mapping, and re-engineering activities across telecom operations.
• Identify areas for

  process improvement

  and support successful adoption of new practices.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, conduct gap analyses, and define business rules.
• Participate in project planning, testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
• Work closely with

  technical leads, developers, and architects

  to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Support solution demonstrations and training sessions as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10–20+ years

  of overall experience in

  functional and/or technical lead roles

  .
• Minimum

  5 years of hands-on experience in Telecom/Communications industry

  , focusing on OSS operations and implementation.
• Strong domain knowledge in

  Inventory Systems

  , OSS architecture, and

  COTS products like Cramer or Granite

  .
• Experience in

  multi-dimensional process improvement

  functions.
• Willingness and ability to

  travel as per project needs

  .

Desired Skills:

• Proficient in

  MS Office tools

  – Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio.
• Experience with

  Business Process Management (BPM)

  tools.
• Demonstrated ability in

  process mapping and improvement identification

  .
• Experience leading

  small-scale functional workstreams

  with successful implementation outcomes.
• Knowledge of applied business practices in

  Telecom, Broadband, and Communications

  domains.
• Familiarity with

  Blue Planet Product Suite

  is a strong plus.
• Understanding of telecom-related business processes such as

  network planning, pricing, and service provisioning

  .
