Key Responsibilities

• Build detailed aerial and underground fiber network designs (FTTH, backbone, distribution) using

  VETRO FiberMap

  ,

  IQGEO

  ,

  Katapult

  , and

  AutoCAD

• Create and refine both

  High-Level Designs (HLD)

  and

  Low-Level Designs (LLD)

  , ensuring network efficiency, scalability, and permit readiness
• Execute route analysis, address validation, and spatial planning using GIS datasets and field inputs
• Develop construction-ready plan sets, including splice diagrams, bill of materials (BOM), and permit exhibits
• Conduct

  pole loading analysis

  , annotate poles with structural and clearance data, and define

  Make-Ready Engineering (MRE)

  tasks for aerial builds
• Ensure compliance with U.S. standards (e.g.,

  NESC

  ) and pole attachment regulations
• Cross-check design deliverables for quality, consistency, and compliance across projects and jurisdictions
• Collaborate closely with U.S.-based engineering and review teams to meet project timelines and accuracy standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in

  Civil Engineering

  ,

  Electronics and Communication Engineering

  ,

  Geospatial Informatics

  , or related fields
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in

  OSP fiber network design

  , including FTTH and backbone projects
• Proficiency in

  VETRO FiberMap

  ,

  IQGEO

  ,

  Katapult

  , and

  AutoCAD

• Strong understanding of

  HLD/LLD design workflows

  ,

  GPON architecture

  , and route optimization
• Ability to interpret field redlines, construction drawings, and permitting inputs to create accurate design packages
• Experience with

  pole loading

  , clearance validation, and

  make-ready planning

  for aerial deployments
• Excellent attention to detail, quality control mindset, and design consistency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in

  English
