Job Description

As an Order Management Specialist, your role involves ensuring all orders, credits, and cancellations comply with Salesforce.com policies. You will be responsible for accurately posting related documents in the Salesforce application. Working in a team environment, you must be self-motivated and extremely detail-oriented. This role requires support in the Pacific timezone (PST). Key Responsibilities: - Review and process quotes to ensure compliance with Salesforce.com policies. - Adjust opportunities according to guidelines for accurate forecasting. - Respond to process & policy questions and effectively communicate requirements. - Manage queues, share best practices, and knowledge as part of the Global Order Management Team. - Build strong relationships with various internal teams such as Sales Operations, Renewals, Collections, and Legal. - Participate in process development, process improvement projects, and ad hoc projects. - Coordinate the routing of documents for internal and external signatures, maintaining an organized record. - Process credit memos in alignment with company policies, approval workflows, and SOX compliance. - Manage order cancellations and reductions, ensuring accurate application of business rules. - Communicate discrepancies or issues to relevant teams or management for resolution. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Strong research and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Excellent time management skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering accuracy while managing deadlines. - Maintain a calm and positive attitude in stressful or time-sensitive situations. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. - Escalate complex issues to appropriate channels for resolution. - Hands-on experience with ERP systems for credit memo creation, preferably workday. - Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements related to financial transactions. - Flexible availability to support operations primarily aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST) and varying work hours to meet business requirements.
