Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer

Role Overview :

As an Oracle EBS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting custom solutions within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment. Your expertise will drive the enhancement of business processes and ensure seamless integration across various modules

Key Responsibilities :

• Customization & Development

  : Design and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations using Oracle EBS tools such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).

• Module Expertise

  : Work across various Oracle EBS modules, including but not limited to:
• Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
  
• Procurement (Purchasing, Inventory, Sourcing, eSourcing)
  
• Order to Cash (O2C)
  
• Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  
• Human Resources (HRMS)
  

• Interface & Integration

  : Develop and maintain interfaces between Oracle EBS and external systems using APIs, web services, and other integration tools.

• Reporting

  : Create and manage reports using BI Publisher, XML Publisher, and Oracle Reports.

• Workflow & Personalization

  : Implement and support Oracle Workflow and personalizations to automate business processes.

• Testing & Documentation

  : Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

• Support & Maintenance

  : Provide ongoing support for production issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.

Required Skills :

• Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle EBS development tools.
  
• Experience with Oracle Forms & Reports, OAF, BI Publisher, and Oracle Workflow.
  
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
  
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and version control systems.
  
• Understanding of business processes in Financials, Procurement, SCM, and HRMS modules.
  
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
