Oracle Developer

Experience: 2 - 7 Years

Work Mode: 5 Days WFO

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Mandatory Skills: Oracle (11g, 12c, 19c), SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Queries, ETL, Performance Tuning, Database, Data warehouse, and Oracle Certification is a Plus.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Solid understanding of database design concepts, data modelling, and normalization.
• Experience with performance tuning techniques, including the use of Explain Plan and other optimization tools.
• Proficiency in working with Oracle database versions (e. g., 11g, 12c, 19c).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, including tables, views, indexes, and other database objects.
• Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and efficient database solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of database applications.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust database constraints and security measures.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database solutions.

Good to Have:

• Experience with other database technologies (e. g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of scripting languages, like Unix Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Oracle certification (e. g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate).
