Devops Architect

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement end-to-end DevOps solutions that support scalable and secure software delivery. Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar. Architect infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Define and enforce DevOps best practices including automated testing, deployment strategies, and observability. Work with development and operations teams to ensure systems are designed for performance, reliability, and scalability. Lead cloud infrastructure design and migration strategies on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Drive automation in configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Establish robust monitoring and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog. Implement security best practices across the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps). Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the organization's engineering culture and standards. Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a senior DevOps/Architect role. Deep experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proven expertise in CI/CD, IaC, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.). Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, etc.). Experience with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
