Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Oracle DBA for one of our esteemed clients based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle database administration and support in a 24x7 production environment.
Mandatory Skills:
Oracle Data Guard (Implementation & Administration)
Shift Management in 24x7 environments
RAC Cluster Setup and Management
Oracle Database Installation & Configuration
Database Patching & Cloning
RMAN Backup and Recovery
Data Pump Export/Import
Oracle GoldenGate (minimum 3 months hands-on experience)
Additional Technical Skills Required:
Good understanding of Oracle Architecture and hands-on experience in Linux environments
Managing roles, profiles, control files, redo log files, and archive logs
Health checks for databases and applications to ensure availability and performance
Flashback technology, CRS management using crsctl, and server control using srvctl
Knowledge of Oracle Cluster Registry (OCR), Voting Disk, AWR, ADDM, and SAR report generation
Experience in database upgrades and migrations
Note:
This is a client-based role, and the candidate must be open to working from the client location in Mumbai (BSK).
Candidates must be willing to work in a 24x7 rotational shift model.
