Job Description

As a Staff member at EY, you'll play a crucial role in architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting highly distributed applications. Your expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure will be essential in Database Administration, Solution design, Database Migration, and manageability for Mission Critical Enterprise Applications in Datacentre and Cloud Deployments. Your responsibilities will include: - Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - End-to-End Database Migration from On-Prem to Cloud Infrastructure - Oracle Database upgrade and production support - Experience with Oracle DB versions 19c, 18c, & 12c - Migration from Oracle Database versions 9i, 10g, and 11g to 12c, 18c, & 19c - Good written/verbal communication, presentation, and interactive skills - Flexible to work independently or collaboratively with the Cloud Infrastructure team Additionally, it would be advantageous if you have knowledge of Engineered Systems like Oracle Exadata Cloud Machine, Exadata administration, patching, and performance tuning, as well as experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, and Terraform. Requirements: - 2-4 years of relevant experience in architecting, designing, implementing highly distributed applications - Certification in Public Cloud (Oracle/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Certified Architect Professional) - Technical expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and migrating mission-critical business applications to Cloud environments - Experience in giving presentations to executive audiences - System administration experience (Linux, Solaris) Your competencies and skills should include good communication skills, self-motivation, result orientation, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
