As a Staff member, your primary responsibilities and accountabilities will include: - Having experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - Handling Database Administration, Solution design, Database Migration, and manageability for Mission Critical Enterprise Applications in Datacenter and Cloud Deployments. - Leading End to End Database Migration from On-Prem to Cloud Infrastructure including Virtual Network Design, routing rules, security groups, Instance creation, and database deployment. - Managing Oracle databases such as 19c, 18c & 12c upgrade, production support, and cross-platform migration. - Upgrading Oracle Data Bases from 9i, 10g, and 11g to 12c, 18c & 19c on various platforms. - Possessing experience in databases other than Oracle like MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo. - Demonstrating good written/verbal communication, presentation, and interactive skills with teams across geographies. - Being flexible to work independently or collaboratively with the Cloud Infrastructure team to identify and implement efficient cloud-based solutions for the company. Good to have: - Knowledge on Engineered Systems including Oracle Exadata Cloud Machine. - Experience in Exadata administration, patching, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform. Requirements (including Experience, Skills, And Additional Qualifications): - 2-4 years of relevant experience in architecting, designing, implementing, and/or supporting highly distributed applications. - Extensive experience working on at least one Public Cloud Oracle/Azure/Google. Oracle Cloud is preferred. - Certification in Public Cloud Oracle/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Certified Architect Professional. - Technical experience in Designing, Developing, Deploying, and/or Migrating mission-critical business applications to Cloud environments including re-platforming of such systems. - Expertise in architecting best technical solutions based on customer requirements. - Experience in giving presentations to executive audiences and explaining the benefits of the platform and service solution over competitors. - Serving as a technical lead for engagements such as Proof of Concepts and Architectural Design Sessions to define and design a complete solution using best practices on Oracle Cloud. - System administration experience (Linux, Solaris). Competencies/Skills: - Possessing good communication skills to coordinate and resolve queries of both external and internal customers. - Being a self-motivator and result-oriented to complete tasks as per timelines. - Having good analytical and problem-solving skills.
