Key Responsibilities: - Proficient in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, specializing in Database Administration, Solution design, Database Migration, and manageability for Mission Critical Enterprise Applications in Datacentre and Cloud Deployments. - Experienced in End-to-End Database Migration from On-Premises to Cloud Infrastructure, encompassing Virtual Network Design, routing rules, security groups, Instance creation, and database deployment. - Skilled in Oracle Database Administration, including 19c, 18c & 12c upgrade, production support, and cross-platform migration. - Capable of upgrading Oracle Data Bases from 9i, 10g, and 11g to 12c, 18c & 19c on various platforms. - Familiarity with databases other than Oracle such as MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo. - Strong written/verbal communication, presentation, and interactive skills to collaborate with teams globally. - Flexible to work independently or in collaboration with the Cloud Infrastructure team to identify and implement efficient cloud-based solutions. Good to have: - Knowledge of Engineered Systems including Oracle Exadata Cloud Machine. - Experience in Exadata administration, patching, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform. Qualifications Required: Experience: - 2-4 years of relevant experience in architecting, designing, implementing, and/or supporting highly distributed applications. - Extensive experience with at least one Public Cloud platform - Oracle/Azure/Google, with a preference for Oracle Cloud. - Certification in Public Cloud - Oracle/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Certified Architect Professional. - Technical expertise in Designing, Developing, Deploying, and/or Migrating mission-critical business applications to Cloud environments, including re-platforming of such systems. - Proficiency in architecting optimal technical solutions based on customer requirements. - Experience in presenting to executive audiences and advocating the platform and service solution advantages over competitors. - Technical leadership in engagements such as Proof of Concepts and Architectural Design Sessions to define and design comprehensive solutions using best practices on Oracle Cloud. - System administration experience in Linux and Solaris.
