About Us: Nivora Eye Institute is a premier eye care facility in Dehradun, committed to providing advanced eye treatments with quality and compassion. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our team.

Overview: As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality eye care to our patients. In addition to core clinical responsibilities, you will also participate in outreach activities such as eye screening camps and assist in routine eye surgeries in the operation theatre.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient workups, including taking patient history, performing refraction, and documenting details in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Operate ophthalmic equipment such as OCT, Visual Field Analyzer, and Optical Biometer to aid in accurate diagnostic procedures.
• Assist in eye surgeries within the operating theatre, including preparing the surgical equipment trolley and supporting the ophthalmic surgeon during surgery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in outreach activities like eye screening camps to extend eye care services to the community.
• Educate patients about eye health, post-operative care, and preventive eye care measures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• BSc Optometry or Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institute.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as an optometrist.
• Experience in OT assisting is a plus.
• Familiarity with ophthalmic equipment such as OCT, Visual Field Analyzer, and Optical Biometeris preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and themedical team.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a patient-centric approach.
• Flexibility and willingness to participate in outreach activities.
