Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist based in Mumbai. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, diagnosing visual issues, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing eye-related diseases. The role also includes maintaining accurate patient records, providing pre- and post-operative care for eye surgeries, and educating patients about eye health and preventive care methods. Collaborative work with colleagues in the retail environment to ensure customer satisfaction is also a key responsibility.

Qualifications

• Licensed Optometrist with a recognized degree in Optometry
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive eye exams and using diagnostic equipment
• Strong understanding of corrective lens prescriptions and eye health management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to educate patients about eye care and preventative measures
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in patient record-keeping
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse patient base and team members
• Experience in a retail environment is a plus
