LVPEI is committed to making eye care accessible and affordable for all. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist at our facility in Odisha, India. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care. In this role, the Optometrist will also participate in community outreach programs, educate patients about eye health, and collaborate with other eye care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Proficiency in conducting eye examinations and diagnosing eye conditions Experience in prescribing glasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids Skills in providing pre- and post-operative care Excellent patient communication and education skills Ability to participate in and contribute to community outreach programs Familiarity with clinical research and evidence-based practice A degree in Optometry from a recognized institution Relevant licensure or certification to practice as an Optometrist Experience in vision rehabilitation and eye health advocacy is a plus Show more Show less
