Job Description

Responsible for checking patients eyes, doing refraction, basic eye examinations, and required eye tests like vision tests, tonometry, keratometry, perimetry, and biometryAlso supports contact lens fitting, low vision care, basic diagnosis, and helps in guiding and training optometry interns Responsible for taking patient history, assessing visual acuity, performing slit-lamp examination and refraction, and conducting binocular vision and orthoptic evaluations
Handles essential ophthalmic tests including tonometry, keratometry, perimetry, biometry, contrast sensitivity, color vision, and electrophysiology
Manages contact lenses, prosthesis fitting, low-vision aids, synoptophore assessments, preliminary investigations, and also supports training of optometry interns
