Optical Sales Assistant

The job involves greeting and directing customers, providing accurate information about eyewear features, pricing, and after-sales services, answering customers" questions regarding vision correction, conducting price and feature comparisons to assist in purchasing decisions, cross-selling products, ensuring racks are fully stocked, managing merchandise returns, and collaborating with the Retail Sales Representatives team to deliver exceptional customer service, particularly during peak times. You will also be responsible for informing customers about discounts and special offers, relaying customer feedback to the Store Manager, and staying updated on new products. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a Sales Executive in an optical showroom or similar setting, a good understanding of the retail sales process, familiarity with spectacles, and knowledge of consumer behavior principles. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and fluency in Tamil and English is a plus. A minimum of 1 year of sales experience is required, and immediate availability is preferred. The selected candidate will be entitled to Provident Fund benefits. The job requires the individual to be able to commute or relocate to Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, and work in person.
