Optical Sales Assistant

The ideal candidate for this role would be a fresher or experienced individual, preferably from an optical background. As a Sales and Stock Management Associate at our optical outlet in Vijayawada, your primary responsibilities would include coordinating lens stocks and supplies, organizing job works and specialty fitting jobs, and providing excellent customer care, follow-ups, deliveries, and other services. You will be expected to handle after-sales services, minor in-house repairs, and maintenance tasks, as well as maintain the upkeep of the showroom. Ensuring minimum stock maintenance, stock revolving, and accurate record-keeping of stock and sales registers will be essential. Additionally, staying updated on the latest models and brands to suggest to customers and timely requisition of stocks and amenities will be part of your routine. Your daily schedule will involve reporting for duty, overseeing the cleanliness of the sales counter, checking and informing customers about received spectacles, and following up with companies/vendors regarding order statuses. You will be responsible for monitoring stocks of spectacles, frames, lenses, solutions, etc., maintaining stock registers, and submitting requisitions to the Centre Head for further requirements. Providing daily sales and order reports to the Centre Head will also be part of your routine. This is a full-time, permanent position with day shift schedules.
