Optical Sales Assistant

As an individual with either a fresh perspective or prior experience, preferably in the optical field, you will be responsible for managing sales and stock at an optical outlet. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinating lens stocks and supplies - Organizing job works and specialty fitting jobs - Providing customer care, follow-ups, deliveries, and other services - Conducting after-sales services and minor in-house repairs and maintenance - Ensuring the upkeep of the showroom - Maintaining minimum stock levels and managing stock rotation - Keeping track of stock and sales registers, as well as conducting stock audits - Staying updated on the latest models and brands to make suitable suggestions - Timely procurement of stocks and necessary amenities - Managing sales and stocks of contact lenses Your daily schedule will involve: - Reporting for duty and inspecting the cleanliness of the sales counter - Checking received spectacles and informing customers about them - Following up with companies/vendors regarding order statuses - Monitoring the stock of spectacles, frames, lenses, solutions, etc., and maintaining the stock register - Providing requisitions to the Centre Head for additional requirements - Presenting daily reports of sales/orders booked to the Centre Head Additionally, the company emphasizes the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.
