Title: SAP MDG Consultant (Functional / Technical)

Location: Pan India (Hybrid)

Mode: Permanent with Nexucon

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Functional Consultant to join our team and support end-to-end implementation and support activities for SAP Master Data Governance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in configuring MDG for various master data domains, particularly Material, Business Partner (Customer/Vendor), or Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and/or support the design and configuration of SAP MDG solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Configure data models, UI models, and workflows in SAP MDG.
• Implement BRF+ rules for validations, derivations, and workflow routing.
• Ensure seamless data replication and integration with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other systems.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and UAT.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including Functional Specs, Configuration Docs, and User Manuals.
• Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments and interface design.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of SAP experience, with SAP MDG Functional.
• Strong knowledge in one or more MDG domains (e.g., MDG-M, MDG-BP, MDG-F).
• Proficiency in BRF+, NWBC/Fiori, DRF, SOA/ALE.
• Good understanding of SAP data models, governance processes, and data quality rules.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and work cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with S/4HANA environments.
• Exposure to SAP Data Services, Information Steward, or MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing.
• SAP MDG certification is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
