Role Overview

Data Engineering Architect

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement data solutions on
GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Looker)
.
Define best practices for ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and governance.
Drive
data migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives
.
Mentor and guide teams on
performance optimization and scalability
.
Partner with stakeholders to align architectures with business goals.

Skills & Tools

Hands-on with
BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Composer (Airflow)
.
Strong programming in
Python, SQL, Java/Scala
.
Data modeling, ELT/ETL pipeline design, distributed systems.
Familiar with
CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering
.

Certifications (Preferred)

Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
Google Cloud Professional Architect

Soft Skills
