Operations Team Lead Solar EPC

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Head to lead the operations of our utility-scale solar power plant in Chh.Sambhajinagar. The ideal candidate will have 56 years of hands-on experience in managing solar plant operations, with in-depth knowledge of DC/AC systems, inverters, transformers, breakers, and SCADA monitoring. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety compliance, and the ability to lead and manage site teams to ensure maximum plant uptime and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day O&M activities to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the solar power plant.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, including inverters, transformers, HT/LT breakers, and switchgear.
• Monitor plant performance through SCADA systems and generate performance and incident reports.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for faults and implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
• Maintain proper documentation for inspections, maintenance records, safety audits, and regulatory compliance.

Key Skills :

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 56 years of relevant experience in utility-scale solar power plant O&M.
• Proven expertise in DC/AC electrical troubleshooting, inverter operations, transformer and breaker maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and data analytics for performance monitoring.
• Familiar with electrical safety standards, risk assessment, and incident reporting.
• Effective leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in remote site conditions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and O&M documentation/reporting tools.
