Operations Manager (Geotech)

By urworldonline / September 7, 2025We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our Geotechnical and Topographical Survey projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth project execution, resource management, compliance with industry standards, and maintaining client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and monitor daily operations for geotechnical investigations and topographical surveys.Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and field teams to ensure timely project delivery.Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and quality.Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, and other relevant standards/regulations.Manage equipment utilization, calibration, and logistics for survey and testing operations.Oversee manpower allocation, training, and performance monitoring.Liaise with clients to address requirements, progress updates, and issue resolution.Prepare operational reports, budgets, and project performance reviews for management.

Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Civil Engineering, or related field.2–5 years of experience in Geotechnical/Survey operations.Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigations, topographical/GIS surveys, and field equipment.Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.Strong communication and client-handling abilities.Willingness to travel and manage multi-location projects.Ability to coordinate between site, office, and client effectively.
