Position Summary

We are a women’s ethnic wear manufacturing and retail company looking for an Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate our Office, Retail/Wholesale Store, and Production Unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, effective communication between teams, and timely delivery of production and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Unit (Cutting, Stitching, QC, Ironing)

• Plan and monitor daily/weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate with Cutting Master and stitching team to ensure timely order completion.
• Track production flow: Cutting → Stitching → QC → Ironing → Finishing.
• Ensure quality checks and manage rework if required.
• Maintain records of fabric issued vs. finished goods returned.

2. Retail & Wholesale Store

• Supervise sales staff and ensure smooth customer handling.
• Monitor daily sales reports and stock movement.
• Coordinate with production unit for replenishment of best-selling designs.
• Collect market/customer feedback and share with designers.

3. Office (Designers, Accounts, Social Media, Pattern Master)

• Follow up with designers and pattern master for new sample timelines.
• Pass approved samples to production for bulk making.
• Share production updates with accounts for costing and billing.

4. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily/weekly reports (production status, store sales, pending orders, issues).
• Act as the single point of contact between Office, Store, and Production Unit.
• Escalate critical issues to the Managing Director (MD) and suggest solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in garment industry operations/production/retail.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of garment production flow (cutting, stitching, finishing).
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, WhatsApp reporting, and stock tracking.
• Ability to handle staff and ensure discipline.

Compensation

• Based on experience and skills (negotiable).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

• Hindi (Preferred)
